Our Food & Your Body

Nearly all our ingredients are local or organically grown, and most are both.  We support sustainable and Earth-friendly agriculture and labor. All our vegetables and soup stocks are organic (with rare exceptions due to lack of availability). Our artisan breads are baked locally with high quality ingredients by Crema Bakery (not organic). Pastries from Crema Bakery are delicious and some are vegan. Kettleman’s real bagels are boiled & baked in Southeast Portland. Our teas are Organic from The Tao of Tea. Our coffee is roasted by Ristretto in Northeast Portland. They have close relationships with the farmers they work with, and they use Fair Trade and some organic beans. All our dairy products are hormone free (rBST).
Our meats are free-range and hormone free.
